Has anyone at CCP thought about licensing or producing a miniature based game? I picture something like Warhammer, with a 4x8 playing field and miniatures. Fleets would cost points or isk depending on formations, weapons, or what-have-you.
I thought about it one night while thinking about how cool it would be to have a 10 inch model of my Taranis that I could paint and put 3 little drones around. |

Collectable Card Game. Magic the Gathering was the prime example of this. Dunno if WOTC bothered to keep the game interesting but, there is your explaination.

Each race has 3 different cruisers and 4 or 5 various frigs....
Gallente =
Megahron : King
Dominatrix, err Dominix : Queen
Vexor : Bishop
Tristan : knight
Thorax : Rook

I was thinking more of just tech 1 stuff. We can save the T2 ships for playing variants of "Flying Kings" checkers on the flip side of the chess board.

There was an abilities card or something in Warhammer 40k about "Go Faster Red". If you want to base this new =V= game on that, does that mean that my Gallente are some variant of orcs and that my Enyo and Ares will go faster? :P |

I think that would be awesome. If I actually had the money to spend on eve merchandise, a nice pewter eve chess set would be at the top of my list :)
Safe to say that most games out there would have huge support for a themed chess set, they already made a Star Wars chess set years and years ago... a WoW chess set I could definitely dig...
WoW.....Eve has lost alot of good players to that dead-end game. Please do not mention it in my thread again or I may have to get violent......okay, I'm kidding. Different people like different games, though I do wish WoW was never made. |
